Needham Bank Hosts James Montgomery Blue Band in Ashland

ASHLAND, MA—On Saturday, March 25th, Needham Bank welcomed their customers and neighbors to a complimentary concert featuring the Grammy nominated James Montgomery Blues Band at Ashland High School. The band rocked the stage with a 90 minute set to the delight of fans from Ashland and the surrounding communities. The concert itself was put on by Needham Bank as a community appreciation event and also to benefit the Ashland Education Foundation.

In addition to the complimentary general admission tickets, the Bank provided a VIP ticket option which included a pre-show meet and greet with the band. Hosted at Stones Public House in Ashland, attendees enjoyed conversation and photos with the band as well as their storied careers and international travels. All proceeds from VIP ticket sales went directly to the Ashland Education Foundation.

Eric Morse, Needham Bank Senior Vice President, remarked, “We like to do things a bit differently at Needham Bank, which is why we thought a concert would be something unique and enjoyable for our community. Also, George McCann, the Band’s lead guitarist is from Ashland, so it was the perfect opportunity to loop in a local celebrity, a local organization, and a local venue to show our customers how much they mean to us.”

Denise Conti, Needham Bank’s Ashland Branch Manager added, “the concert was such a fun evening with our customers. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed the performance and it was a great opportunity to get to know more of our customers and their guests.”
