If you find incorrect information on your credit report, contact the company that issues the account or the credit reporting company that issued the report.  You can dispute any inaccuracies found on your TransUnion credit report by navigating to the bottom of the Credit Report module and clicking “dispute”.

Credit reports, also knowns as credit files, are composed of the credit-related data a credit reporting company has gathered about consumers from different sources.  Credit reports include records of mortgage payments, credit card balances, credit card payments, auto loan payments, and credit inquiries.  It may also include accounts that have gone into collections, public records, and other information from government sources.

A credit score is a three-digit number calculated to indicate your creditworthiness.  The higher the score, the more creditworthy you are to a lender.  A credit score is calculated from the information in your credit report and considers whether you have been making on-time payments, your revolving debt use, the length of your payment history, and other such factors.  It’s important to note that your score does not take your age, income, employment, marital status, or bank account balances into account.

You can do this through the NB My Cards app and selecting “Set PIN” or by calling 1-800-992-3808 and following the prompt.

Yes! With the Needham Bank My Cards app, available to download on your Apple or Android device, you can set up real-time alerts, turn your card off, establish spending limits and more.

You can do this through the Needham Bank My Cards app, available to download on your Apple or Android device. Once your card is registered, go to “Manage Travel Plans” to report your travel dates and locations.

During business hours, call 781-444-2100 and follow the prompt to Debit Card.  A representative will assist you in closing your card, reviewing transaction activity for unauthorized transactions, filing a claim if needed, and issuing a replacement card.

To request a credit limit increase, log into online banking and go to “Card Services”, then “Request a Credit Limit Increase”. Submit the form and we’ll notify you of the decision shortly.

No problem! Personal credit card customers who don’t have online or mobile banking can download the Needham Bank My Cards app on your Apple or Android device and set up an account.

The unlimited 1.5% cash back you earn on all credit card purchases will automatically appear as a credit on your monthly statement. 

Some small businesses are able to receive payments with Zelle®. Ask your favorite small business if they accept payments with Zelle®. If they do, you can pay them directly from the Needham Bank online banking or mobile app using just their email address or U.S. mobile number.

Neither Needham Bank nor Zelle® offers purchase protection for payments made with Zelle® – for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for, or the item is not as described or as you expected. Only send money to people and small businesses you trust and always ensure you’ve used the correct email address or U.S. mobile number when sending money.

Zelle® QR code provides peace of mind knowing you can send and receive money to the right person, without typing an email address or U.S. mobile number.

To locate your Zelle® QR code, log into Needham Bank’s mobile banking app, click “Send Money with Zelle®”. Next, go to your “Zelle® settings” and click “Zelle® QR code” and your QR code will be displayed under “My Code”. From here you can view your QR code and use the print or share icons to text, email or print your Zelle® QR code. To receive money, share your Zelle® QR code.

To send money, log into Needham Bank’s mobile banking app, click “Send money with Zelle®”, click “Send,” then click on the QR code icon displayed at the top of the “Select Recipient” screen. Once you allow access to your camera, simply point your camera at the recipient’s Zelle® QR code, enter the amount, hit “Send,” and the money is on the way! When sending money to someone new, it’s always important to confirm the recipient is correct by reviewing the displayed name before sending money.

The amount of money you can send, as well as the frequency, is set by each participating financial institution. To determine Needham Bank’s send limits, call our customer service at 781-444-2100.

At Needham Bank, there are no limits to the amount of money you can receive with Zelle®. However, remember that the person sending you money will most likely have limits set by their own financial institution on the amount of money they can send you.
